no pics, but went out to lunch today and at the light we're behind a 1 ton pickup with the little flatbed body and another one towing a little dual axle electric brake trailer for some landscaping company
on the first 1T truck is two (count em) two pallets of shrink wrapped paving stones. (like for making patios).
on the 2nd 1T truck is another pallet of this stone and on the probably 12k lb rated trailer is two more pallets of these patio stones
there isn't a tie down in site
really, not only are they way overweight. (the pallets probably weigh (like most pallets) 2500lbs each, the first 1T is literally with wheels in the air but the pallets are just sitting there.
Apparently shrink wrap and magic are going to keep these attached. They are just sitting there.
Good thing only big semi trucks are dangerous.
The Truckers’ Report flatbed Hall of Shame.

I got another one. (no pics, I was driving a commercial truck down the freeway)
pickup hauling a car hauler trailer (you know, the 16' 2 axles, usually rated around 7000lbs or so with ramps on the back)
with a skid steer on it. (so it's probably overweight already, SS's are heavy)
with 20' sticks of rebar underneath the skidsteer. Not tied down, just sitting there. Yes, that's right, they loaded the rebar. (20-30 sticks of it) then loaded the skidsteer on top of the rebar and tied down the skidsteer. -
