As soon as he hit the bridge, he should have dialed 911 and reported his truck stolen.

More than one goose to cook on this skillet.
Upated article. TDOT: No timetable on when I-40 East will reopen in downtown Nashville

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the company did not have a permit from TDOT to haul the load through downtown Nashville. THP said the truck had been permitted from Arkansas into West Tennessee, but not for continuing into Middle Tennessee.
“He didn't have the proper permit to drive in this area," said THP Sgt. Charlie Caplinger. "The company and drivers are at fault. TDOT didn't issue them a permit to be in this area. He wouldn't have been routed this way."

Boss man says, "Ride the shoulder in the hammer lane, and you'll be fine."

gonna be a gabillion dollar accident.......i'd like to see CAT cancel anymore hauling from them as well. and a full replacement of the machine, which, of course, that's part of the gabillion dollar claim(s).....lol

What amazes me, is the load cleared most of the rest of the bridge. It only hit the last girder of the bridge.
