The definition of insanity is doing the same thing
Over and over and expecting different results.

    What's this your 2nd or 3rd lease.
No truck and no money to show for any of it.
And now you want another one. Really.

Your working for free. There's literally a 1000
Company jobs better than what your doing.
You can use the troll spray on me.

And why do you always say I don't want to be a
Company driver for a mega. Nobody does.
There's hundreds of jobs that have nothing to
    Do with a mega.

Take a break, get your .50 cpm somewhere and
Let somebody else pay all the bills.
You'd probably have 25 grand on the bank right
    Now with no headaches.

The tractor was abused and neglected. Rust has eaten wires and bolts and components. It has electrical issues. Bcl are d##ks. Guarantee is selectruck and its non existent. It covers everything except what is broke. Jb agrees with me. 330000 miles when I got it 390000 now. What a joke.
If I haven't learned anything I've learned when to stop throwing good money after bad.

If I am not mistaken you stated when you got this truck that it had been refurbished so to speak. I am wandering if this truck was one of the trucks that was in the flood a couple years ago and then refurbished and put out to sale. This is food for thought as I was at Schneider during that flood and I recall some of their equipment was in that flood.

I drove an automatic briefly and truly hated it. Worst part was backing up. Second worst was steep slick downgrades with heavy loads. I hear the too fast backing problem remains unresolved. True or false? Vaguely considering cascadia evo but not enthusiastically. What say you?

You are right. It's not hard math. 3 months in the shop and 3 months of operating should equal an absolute minimum of 60k dollars.( remember, 20k a month revenue is the bare minimum in today's market) Let's say you get crap fuel mileage like me and spend 12k in fuel over that time, that's 48k left. take the 7k in repairs and you got 41 left. Now i know leases are high cost, but they ain't 40k for 6 months.

Again i will state, you need to figure out if you can meet the revenue goals, and if not then you need to figure out why. It could be as simple as adjusting your running lanes, or it could be its not possible at your carrier.

You come across as a fairly pleasant person so i do hope you get it figured out and succeed.

That would explain a lot. Yes it was supposed to have been refurbished with new 300k mile warrantee on engine, emissions system and power train. I confess I saw some of the rust but they had painted over it. Within a week I was pulling sheets of pair off the frame and inside farings plus a host of mechanical problems which I brought to bcl but they simply farted on my general direction.

I have not had any experience with any of the older automatic transmissions so I do not know what issues they had. This freightliner has the dt-12 transmission and I do like it. Now it does have its issues as with anything. It does not downshift like a normal one but that is the way it is set up for the best savings. I have not had any issues with backing up and I did a lot of that at Schneider.

That's good to hear. Can u manually downshift if you need to? How about living space in evo full roof? It looks kind of small compared to regular cascadia.

The insanity quote is rude thank you. I have not shared my history or reasons for not buying previous lease trucks because my reasons were personal and nothing to do with the lease....here comes my troll spray...
