Prime pays cpm fuel mileage bonus.
Not being able to choose your route to minimize the drag of terrain makes the bonus more difficult to capture on a consistent basis.
42000# up and down Cali mountains or Northeast hills is not easy on fuel.
Did Prime get slowed down to double nickels?

In this day and age you aren't gonna see two trucks with that drastic of a diffrence. Maybe a couple tenths of a gallon per mile but not gallons per mile.
If you see that drastic of a diffrence from two identical trucks then either something is wrong with that truck or you need to look at the drivers. A driver flooring it at every stop will get much worse fuel mileage than someone who takes off easy as example.truadvocate Thanks this. -
2007 columbia 455 detroit 10 speed 3.7 rears.
Your assessment is probably correct , however the computer said there is nothing wrong so what do you fix?
I got a new company truck and maintenance was always on my back about idle time 50 to 70%. It took some math to figure out After subtracting idle time my average speed was 92 mph with a truck limited to 65 mph.
I left that job and stopped in 1 time to say hello and the maint super says you know that computer finally blew up ?
BUT the ? is how do you keep a fuel bonus fair to everybody.
Far too many variables.magoo68 Thanks this.
