Several of your colleagues on this forum wrote about this, and even said they knew about drivers who fell down entering or leaving the cab. That only happens with the US style of cabover of course, not with the European style.

So you contend that no one has ever slipped getting in or out of a Euro cabover......right.

    SAR Thanks this.

With an EU truck you climb directly in and out of the cab, with an US truck the ladder is next to the door, so you have to step sideways to get in and out.

    98989 Thanks this.

That is because a EU truck has a set back front axle.
A US,aussi and kiwi one has a set forward axle.

12V, and they regret it. Of course 12V is 14V in reality, but at the end of a roadtrain only 10V is left. Cable and connectors cause so much resistance A lightbulb meant for 12V (14V) will give only a fraction of the light at 10V.

At the time 24V would have been a far better choice, now we can only hope that 48V will be introduced soon for all trucks and cars.

Under the dash. You can not stand or walk there anyway.

Not that different from many euro-cabovers. The short doghouse below the dash is often needed for air-air cooler, radiator, etc.

    A few examples
    Volvo:
