I hate drivers who do this and for the most part I hate us express, I’m sure their is a couple usx drivers that aren’t window lickers but then again they would have the sense to get a real job and not be at usx to begin with.. so I’m guessing %99.9999 window licking morons

Has nothing to do with training, and everything to do with the self centered, inconsiderate attitude that has permeated our society as a whole, and our industry in particular.

I like the states that put up signs that say "Use both lanes to merge point"..

Then they have signs that say
    MERGE HERE

    Then
    DO NOT PASS

    Those are CLEARLY STATED.

99% of us get in line like we should bc we're not self righteous pricks that have to run to the front.
Even when I'm very short on time... my conscience won't let me do that.

    I don't understand the mentality.
    Never will.

They do that here to, it could be due to temp lanes not being built for the weight, or a height/curve angle restriction ect..

Yup, in most cases, there isn't anything saying that "zipper" can't happen half a mile before the barrels start. Well, except for the A holes that think they are entitled.

It is not so much the late merge but not seeing the car stopped in his lane. 200 yards later and he would have to gone to the woods or if there had been guard rail it could have been fatal.
Simple case of driving with head up ***.

This is par for the course from what I usually see of US Xpress. They're just like any other mega. Put meat in the seat and this is what you get. They (along with a slue of other megas) were pushing very hard for speed limiters and then raised their limiters up in MPH a couple years later. Luckily, Trump put a stop to that speed limiter mandate. Funny thing is, this shows slowing them down still doesn't make them safe because they drive like raging tools at any pace.
