Actually this is a video clip I recently posted of that "Prius".

Compare that to the size of a US daycab. That would make a Smart look like a big limo.

    Did he now.

Well, then I'm sure you can explain why the K200 om the left need such an enormous doghouse, and the DAF on the right can do without. In fact there isn't even a floor visible on the photo of the K200, and mind you, the photo of the K200 was made from a point further to the rear :

This photo of the driver seat of the K200 also shows how much room there is:

    K200_3.jpg

As you can see, it is very easy to get up and walk to the rear of the cab.

So instead of using stupid personal attacks, show us what you actually know.

The DAF appears to be a computer drawing, not a photo. If you are going to make these comparisons at least make them apples to apples.

In the 80s when I was a teenager I had a job for a local grocery warehouse. I cleaned the love bugs off a fleet of about 50 day cab trucks during the summer. For the rest of the year I washed and waxed the exteriors and detail the interior of the trucks. The drivers rarely used the same truck day to day. The drivers were also responsible for some loading and unloading of the trucks and washing out the refrigerated trailers and being how this was in central Florida they could get quite dirty and sweaty during the summer. A small sleeper would have reduced the cargo capacity, increased the wheel base length and decreased the maneuverability of these trucks and would have been of little use to these drivers and been a maintenance / cleaning nightmare. In the US companies have the option to buy trucks with tiny sleepers like the one pictured but choose not to for the above reasons.
