The question comes down to this. Do you want to smell someone else’s farts or your own?

Let me give you a different point of view. I only have 3 trucks right now. 1 team and two solo. All my drivers pick their own freight and are paid a percentage. Team loads pay more. If you have a person you can get along with teaming makes you at least 30 percent more money. The secret is that you have to wait until late in the date to get team loads.

I have a driver that does not like to be alone. He would hate to drive solo. I have a female driver who must be alone. I personally do not care.

If you can sleep while some one else is driving, you will make much more money as a team driver.

    Canadianhauler21 Thanks this.

mostly depends on what she looks like ......... you can tell her we can do what ever you want for 23 hours a day and what I want to do for an hour a day ..... didn't the 8 weeks with a trainer get that team thing out of your system. .. ..

For an experienced driver at a good company, that may be true. For an inexperienced driver, it depends completely on the company.
