    Kind of funny we are comparing different models built and designed by same parent company Paccar.

    And I’m next in line for one of their neutered 579’s.

    The refrigerator slides out from under the bed..
    Notice i did not say cooler .

    You want everything with in easy reach.;)

    Ps the XF range has a slide out small table.
    Very handy.

    @haycarter
    That folding stick on the manuals,is that released by sliding a collar upward on the stick?

    The point he and others are making is a day cab doesn't need a sleeper at all. The driver does his 10 hour shift and goes home. Now i get that compares will spec a small sleeper for ease of resale, just another example of how the markets have different needs therefore the trucks have evolved in different directions.

    Edit: also every manufacturer here offers a 12v refrigerator for every sleeper truck. That isn't anything special.

    Unfortunately we just drive them, not buy them. :oops:

    At least ours have Cummins power under the hood though.

    Yep ya gotta drive what the boss tells ya to drive. And of course my response to that is better you than me!
    But on the flip side when I'm up to my elbows in the engine you are probably thinking sure sucks to be him!

    I haven't been in one, but I suspected this was the case.

    Don't forget to unhook spreader chains or that one will go over backwards with larger material in it.
