Ways to get around NC workers compensation requirements

    That’s all true, but add one other option. That is they can require it as a condition of the contract either supplied by you or them, either way essentially paid by you. It’s then your choice whether to sign or not. It’s your choice whether any monies you receive after any negotiations make it worth it or not. If one doesn’t get it even though as you noted not required for only 2 employees, it makes FedEx responsible and they won’t accept that. BTW, you just helped make it harder than it needs to be.

    LOL...actually, I was insinuating the opposite.

    If fedex is making it harder for him to make a decision, then maybe he should reconsider engaging with them.

    There's plenty of loads out there to be stressing about fedex.
