What you're missing is you're starting a business and you don't appear to have clue as to what that takes.

And one of the things it takes is capital and your whole rationalization for leasing is that you have none.

I don't know where you think you're going to pay off a truck in 3 years lol.. You're not paying off a new truck in 3 years.. It's not gonna happen. You'd have to double up your payments a week.. Which would be 2000 a week lol good luck

On a purchase you depreciate the value over x number of years. Many different ways of doing this. The fact that you don't know this very basic business accounting practice should be a big hint that you are not ready to go into business for yourself. Take some time to educate yourself before jumping in.

Exactly. People use the excuse of having a lease for tax reasons. But if you're paying a monthly payment or have no payment at all if you know what you doing you will have minimum tax responsibility.. Just buy more equipment.. It's not that hard.. People use that lease payment excuse really gets under my skin lol

So i was told wrong by schnieder? Brand new 156k dollar truck you do a one year lease.. then refinance for 3 years then its yours that for a brand new truck! A used one they said 2 years then 10k to 20k balloon which will take less than a year to pay.. and the #### truck payments are not 1000 dollars thats with maintence account which adds up fast by the end of lease that maintence account builds at 7200 dollars a year or something

You can pay off a new truck in 3 years - just not if you are leasing. 10-20% down with normal rates and it's easy. 18% Apr, not a chance

We're talking about lease trucks. Of course used trucks most times are 36-48 months

The maintenance account isn't a savings account ... you'll be spending that money at an ever increasing rate.

Actually you can do whatever you want ... he's not telling you what to do ... just an observation that have no clue what you're doing

Nothing wrong with jumping in and then learning from your failures. The question is when you fail - and give your level of naivety, you more than likely will - are you going to figure out what you did wrong and learn from it or are you going to join the chorus of folks who say leasing and SNI are scam and ripped you off?
