Best way to move forward?

I swear I am almost ready to throw my laptop at the wall next time I read the words (don't use or check DAC) grrrrrrrr dang it the FMCSA MANDATES a carrier comply with part §391. It don't frickin matter if a carrier uses DAC or not! To comply carriers MUST investigate a driver. It is not optional. DAC is only a tool used to facilitate doing this. A carrier that don't use DAC has to still get that data.

 

Carrier investigating is one thing. All they're doing is a performance history.

Having a criminal record in writing.

DON'T USE DAC COMPANIES.

Megas use DAC. Smaller outfits and locals don't usually care about DAC.

There might be SOME smaller outfits that might use it so I won't say not all. And I guess there COULD be some locals. But it's more of a gaurantee from the megas then smaller outfits. Which far outnumber the amount of megas.
