Poor excuse for wheel nut wrench too.

I feel pity for the Aussies, they pay a premium price for their trucks and that is what they get.:(
Hope haycarter can tell us that not all Aussie trucks are like that.

Good observation. That hook that keeps the cab in the locked position, locks itself straight on the chassis, so the cab can not move up or down at that point. That means no cab suspension at the rear.

Cat ,you should at least post a video off the XF Superspace not the smaller CF.
    That would be fair.
    XF Superspace vs K200.

It was the CF, just look at the side windows with the window-in-window.

By the way, you seem to have a subscription to the DAF channel at Youtube, since I was offered the same video today.

Give it a year or so, and you will buy a beautiful new XF in Eindhovem, and import it in the states.

No I’m rebuilding my 08 KW one piece at a time......

If I buy anything new it would be a glider that I have put together with my specs and equipment.......

But I’m old and probably will run my 10 year old truck for as long as possible....

that hook itself which secure cab to chassis looks bit questionable. too exposed looks like it is too easy to operate....here it depends from truck to truck but there is no such thing would be on road. mb trucks have automatic lock that is combined on pump and when it feel resistance it will unlock.
some trucks got lock lever inside of cab or far from easy reach, also requires lot of force, is equipped with spring

Are gliders still allowed? I seem to remember reading they are no longer legal.
