Was reading this post. I'm curious about Sheetz as well. They have a terminal 3 miles from my house in Greensboro, NC. I've been looking at them, if I ever decide to get out of OTR and go local(I'm a tanker driver now). I ran into a guy at my terminal that had a few interviews with them, but said it wasn't a good fit, for him. Sounds like, you don't have any experience hauling tanker, since you said you went and took tanker and HM tests. I do know they want at least 2 years of tanker, preferably tanker w/ HM experience, required. If you don't have at least 2 years tanker experience they will not call you. But, good luck.

yeah...I did have(at the time I submitted my application) almost 5 years driving exp. Had all my endorsements, just no 'tanker experience'. Working on that now. But, got an email from them(they were hiring in Greensboro, NC at that time) few months later saying I wasn't a 'qualified applicant' meaning my lack of tanker experience. Plus, I believe, on the website, they prefer you to have your TWIC card. Only way you'll get into those gas farms to load. Hope this, somewhat helps.

Well...I made it!!! Been working for CLI Transport/Sheetz for a couple weeks now. LOVE IT worth the wait for sure. They are SUPER particular in who they hire, for good reason. It's a real good deal
