Ooh, how bad?

 

Idk. I got that close. Most major Rds in town are still blocked. Took me over an hour of driving through People's front yards to make it the 12 miles to the yard. I guess I'll deal with it when I get home. I still got trucking to do. I have made commitments to customers, and they will be fulfilled.

Tornado?

 

Confirmed tornado in several surrounding towns by photo: confirmed 103mph straight line winds in my town, n I'd put money on a tornado. National weather service is headed there now. Got fire ems tree and electrical crews coming in from all over ct, as well as mass and nh.
Not ideal.

Unload earlier in Lincoln. 30 minutes from pull up to the gate to getting back into the truck.



Now I'm sitting here waiting for the guys to come back from lunch...



Oh well, I'm already sweating like a pig and that's just from moving the bunks and tarps on the kick. But I confirmed with the shipper and dispatch, no tarp. I'm looking at these things and wondering how someone would actually tarp it to begin with, without losing the entire tarp.

Now I don’t have any desire to run one myself, but son of a biscuit-eatin basket-maker that thing looks sweet.
