Hey man, dony judge me Tennessee. You have no idea what your talking about and making major assumptions. And if you would have have read or payed attention to what you read in my post. Ive already talked to a lawyer and I qualify for a free lawyer anyway with no job. and I actually had 10000 saved. I bought a car and paid off 6months insurance and car payments. so I don't have to worry about that. And I just got this charge 1 week ago. I kinda didn't plan on getting into a fight with my gf ive dated for 10 years but #### happens. And your telling me to just move.

I really hope you don't think i'm judging you. Maybe it's time to rethink life's direction and make some changes. We all have to at sometime. Some of us more than once.

Oh trust me, I'm rethinking a different direction alright. One step at a time... My next step is to get a job.

I'm reading on avvo right now about disclosing arrest to employers. they say if I don't give them my permission to do the check then my arrest will not show up. But if I do give them my permission to do a background check then it will show up but I'm not sure about all that.
Hopefully someone in my same situation will chime in with first hand experiences...

    Easy, amigo.

I want to help you, but I was trying to figure out how to say it without pissing in your Cheerios. I do understand @Trucking in Tennessee's post. He wasn't judging you. This thing, the incident with your girlfriend, you earned that. It's just a symptom, not the cause tho.

    1. 10 yr history with your GF.
    2. HUD, EBT, and the fraud stuff...yeah, all that stuff.
    3. The kids that are not yours and the one on the way (is she carrying your child?)
    4. This big domestic incident

You're making bad choices. You've been making bad choices for a long time. Not judging, because we want you to be successful. But, you have the tendency to make bad choices. Let's start looking at becoming more goal oriented. I know, your immediate goal is to get a job. What next? Please tell me that's not your kid.

I see some great advice. I see nothing that would prevent you being hired. However carriers generally won't hire someone on probation or parole << later after court. For now before court make sure you are authorized to leave the area. If you are out on bail you might need to get cleared.

If she has no marks, then hire an attorney, threaten to take it to court. If she has no evidence, then there's no way you're going to get a guilty verdict. Unless your attorney sucks. Prosecutors want convictions they can get easily. Unless it's a major charge, like murder, rape or something along those lines. Petty sht like this, with no evidence, will be a cake walk for almost any attorney.

You're just guessing at the two year thing. You're attorney can pressure the prosecutor. And if there's not sufficient evidence against you, then the prosecutor will drop the charges.
When I went through all of this, I messed up and didn't take pictures of my face and neck. She literally beat the crap out of me. And all I was trying to do was get the heck out of there.
But, without evidence to prove my side, I knew I had to take a lesser charge. You, on the other hand, if she doesn't have pictures of bruises, taken by the officer who came out, then there's no evidence. And you're home free.

As far as the two year thing goes, leave that to your attorney. And like someone else said, don't go blabbing it to a possible employer.

I'd make an appointment to see the Jr District Attorney that is handling this case. Tell them your side. Tell them this is impacting your ability to be hired. My guess is they will either drop it or make it a disorderly conduct.

I wouldn't even tell an employer you have this pending.

First off you saying I earned the charge with my gf is just completely flase. Shes the one with the rage and anger. Guys can be victims of domestic violence too ya know.

second saying that bc ive been with her for 10 years shows I made a bad decision, or that I had a baby with the women ive loved for 10 years is a bad decision, and that her commits fraud behind my back has anything to do with me. and yeah this is a class c assult charge. nothing you said was either true or pointed me out to be a person who makes bad decisions. I just finished a year and a half OTR with PRIME with no problems. I think that was a pretty good choice.
