Thanks I’ll see if they will travel to NY state from South Dakota to replace one windshield.

I had that company do one. They got rid of the weatherstripping and "glued" it in...

When that windshield is replaced, make SURE they seal it WELL. I had two windshields replaced on T680's and both times ended up with the nine banshees from Hades screaming in the truck. They failed to fully seal it and I ended up having to climb up there with a clear caulk and go to work. Beyond the annoying noise it leaked.

They did a good job on mine. Been driving in rain all week, no leaks at all. No wind noise either @Lepton1 so all is good.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Yeah, mine didn't leak either. I'm glad I wasn't there the next time the windshield needed to be replaced...

Why didn't you use the black caulk? I've heard it's bigger & more filling.

    skellr Thanks this.

It was a company truck. I tried to hide the evidence.

Double check once you drive through a downpour. Wind noise is one thing. Dealing with a leak is another. Let us know after you have run a week or so.
