    Ive been thinking about it.

Parents have a set of his and her Ralieghs which I understand might have more value believe it or not.

I just don't know enough about the old bike market. But I'll ask some questions locally, there are people in my county who are very very very good with bikes. That's all they do.

Are the Raleighs needing some TLC too? Or were they maintained?

I don't think they were ridden enough to be maintained, worse case scenario would be rotted tires and tubes along with anything rubber. (Brake lines, shift line etc)

I'll get into a converstation with them soon enough in the mail, it's gone out as of yesterday. We have a neighbor in the same housing group who owned a bike shop for many decades. Between his in Maryland and mine in Arkansas Im pretty sure we can determine what's what. I know I own that 10 speed outright without reservation all I have to do is go get it which maybe a little bit easier said than done. But we'll see.

If I check my driving record it shows every ticket I ever got, one in the 80’s, a few in the 90’s, the seat belt ticket from 2007.
    It’s all there

That's odd. I wonder if its the state your license is through. The ncic database for law enforcement only shows three years on traffic, five on dui.

It's more then just the NCIC. Insurance companies keep databases. I have a copy of my DAC file pulled in 2014. It has my tickets going back to the 90s. This is a hard thing to get across. These records are based on who is asking who is doing the search and what database are they using. The official MVR record should be the primary database used and yes 3 year searches are common, however they do sell 7 year reports.

Insurance will put you in the high risk category, so I think maybe 10 years from now you should think about returning but now ... nope.

Not to be too much of a clown, but how much time did all of that "in a hurry" stuff save you? Was it worth it?

Quite often when you are driving through a city that crappy right slow lane does you as much good as the "fast" left lane. Everybody races to the exit they want so they can sit and wait at the red light at the bottom and all the slow drivers catch up with them.

If your a bull on the hill with a CDL, it's better to walk down the hill. :)
