It’s easy. Some truck stops will even post suggested walking paths. It’s a good way to see a town you have stopped in instead of just driving through it. I just get out and start walking.. make occasional turns depending on how the scenery changes, walk through neighborhoods, down alleys, etc. when my heart starts thumping hard, I’ll turn around and head back.

It depends a lot on the truck stop or the local town, if there even is a local town. Some stops are just on a highway exit without much else around. I suppose you could walk down the road. Or there is even less if you wind up at a Rest Area with the rare exception of extra big Turnpike Plazas with lots of room to walk around.

If I went back to OTR, I've often wondered if it would be possible to mount a Speed Bag in a truck. The advantage of that would be not dealing with weather conditions and I think any type of punching bag would have a great stress relief benefit.

Just carry a bicycle in or out of the cab. I carried a folding mountain bike with me when I was long haul. Thought of it as the "shore dinghy" when unfolding it and riding off from the truck for awhile.

You can walk or take laps around the truck stop. Be careful though. Certain times of the day can be very busy and the drivers may not see you. Also be careful if you use your headphones as you will not hear the trucks. If you can get in early and park out towards the back forty as this area will fill up last. Stay away from the fuel island for obvious reasons. I like to do my kettle bell and run out back. Now that the weather is getting nice again it's great to get out of the truck and get some of that stress off.

Get a stair stepper for the truck and watch a skin flick.
