Fair enough. Maybe I could have explained it better.
Like most companies, Swift takes everything out before you get paid what mere pittance is left. So taxes, then other company deductions such as paying for training etc, then insurance, then what's left is yours.
I had a few paychecks that stopped somewhere in the "pay for insurance" part. I literally owed the company money on payday.
Mind you, I drive my tail off when I have loads. I got pretty good, for a noob, at managing my clocks.
And yeah, I'm a bit testy. Tired of being jerked around.

Not that it matters, but I found a local driving job before I got my first batch of "is the grass really greener? Swift has the Freight to keep you rolling, come back and find out" emails and text messages.

I make between 1.150$-1250$(Net and excluding extra runs that I get quite often) a week with Costco dedicated reefer run at swift.
I’m just staring this career and I’m happy with swift.
The beauty of life I guess.
