The Decatur test was an sight-side alley dock, a blind-side parallel park, and a drive around the block. Lots of drivers flubbed the backing and they passed them anyway. This was back in 2010.

 

Don't worry about it. There wasn't any of that two get outs and two pull ups nonsense that Georgia limits you to on their CDL driving test. As long as you can get it in without hitting anything you're good.

The driving test was one left turn, then three right turns, then we were back at the terminal. Try not to hit the curb on the second right turn. OOPS!!!

 

Seriously, your upgrade test depends on when and where you finish your 200 hours. If you finish your 200 hours at Memphis, then you test at Memphis. You don’t get to pick. It depends on the load and where your mentor wants to drop you off. If there is a load going to Memphis and he has a new student waiting at Memphis, where do you think he is going to drop you off?

 

I am sure after few hours you will get it. Use the formula from CDL school and you can do it without pull ups or goal, and get it in one shot.

 

That’s what I am saying. Your CDL school should taught you a formula to do parallel parking. It’s also on YouTube. Just follow the setup and you should have it down, no problem.
