    What kind of motorcycle?

Cop might’ve said “ooh, a crotch rocket. I don’t get to stop one of those very often”.

Call the court house and ask to speak with the prosecutor or magistrate, whoever handles traffic infractions. Many times they will set a date and you see him at the court house in his or her office. He takes your money, usually knocks ten or twenty off the fine and tears up the ticket. I did this two years ago, was ticketed for being out in the third lane in Detroit. The fine was $150, the magistrate knocked it down to $125 and sent me on my way. It never showed up on my driving record. And yes, I told the company I am leased to about the ticket.

Another thing you can do too, is ask if the ticket can be taken under advisement. That is where you pay the fine, and they hold the ticket. If you keep your nose clean for 6 months the ticket goes away, no points. Some states still do this, some don't. Depends on where you are.

And 5 over, if you are squeaky clean, more than likely they will dismiss the ticket anyways, but you will still pay the vig.

It's not only a matter of "Will a company care". If you are found guilty, or plead guilty, you MUST notify your company within 30 days of the conviction as per 383.3. It's my understanding, that no CSA points or PSP points are given if no inspection was done.

So your the guy that's always in the way. Lol....This is comical. Not every motorcycle rider is flying 140 down the highway and weaving through traffic like a moron. There are plenty of reasons that one may need to break the speed limit to avoid given situations. My guess is someone was in the way or causing congestion such as yourself.

The only reason to wear a helmet on a motorcycle is so your relatives can have a open casket funeral.

Read your company's policy manual. There should be something in there that governs how to handle your situation.
