Sounds like a warning with teeth. Read the ticket and see exactly what statute is named. Speeding, even 1-5 over usually has points involved. Cops have been known to provide incorrect information
And if it is speeding you must notify your company if you plead guilty. If you fight it and no conviction then no notice to company.
If you company breaks your chops they are being unreasonable. Just don't get any other moving violations in the near future establishing a pattern. -

However, some companies will demand to know about all citations issued even one isn’t found guilty. -
Besides, I don't know why the PSP score even matters to anyone. Your MVR is the key, not your PSP. Plenty of companies out there that don't even look at a PSP score. -
A driver doing 10mph under the speed limit in the passing lane is clearly going to cause more congestion than someone doing 5 over and going with the flow of traffic at that particular time. We must drive in completely different areas. -
Lawyer up and see what happens would be my advice.MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
0 points may not even show up. To be safe, I would assume it will show, but I would ask an attorney before ratting myself out. If that's the case and it happened to me, I'd just pay the fine and zip the lip.
In a 55+ zone in Ohio, 1-10 mph over the limit is 0 points. I've only been hassled in that range (9 over) one time, cop was fishing for DUI in the wee hours and let me go. -
In Pa. 0-5 mph over speed limit is a fine and 0 points. 6 mph will get you 2 points. Insurance isn’t affected so maybe your company will cut you some slack. Years ago I was clocked much higher than 5 over in a car, got a lawyer and he negotiated it to 5 over the limit. It still shows on your driving record as 5 and under so even though it’s no points, it doesn’t totally go away. What road did they get you on?
