Where is your location? No one can PM you because all your info is blocked.
If we can figure out your location, maybe some on here know of other LTL companies.Puppage Thanks this. -
Having a criminal charge is gonna put you at a big disadvantage at not just LTL but any trucking company but if OD said reapply in 6 months then just wait and reapply is probably the best you can do. I would imagine the other LTL's will probably tell you the same thing. I work for OD and they as well the other LTL's companies can be pretty picky with who they hire and rightfully so because they pay extremely well and are the cream of the crop

Is it a felony? If not YRC will hire you.

In or near Pittsburg companies with LTL divisions that hire new cdl grads:
New Penn
Central Transport - graduate from an approved driving school
Eby-Brown - West Mifflin, PA
- Must have a Class “A" CDL (if you do not have a CDL license yet, please inquire about our internal training program)
- A clean driving record
- One year of proven commercial driving experience is desired, but not required

Saia, they are expanding like crazy in Pennsylvania. Worse case, if they don't think you have enough experience driving yet they will put you in the dock to driver program and work you on the dock at driver wages until they think you are ready to drive. My brother works for them and can't say enough good about the company, loves it there. Of course he is #2 in seniority at his terminal and a line haul driver so he has it easy!
darthanubis, SOAthor, Mike2633 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah, saia PGH is hiring agressively and they were "making scheduled runs" for new linehaul hires recently, not sure if they still are but i know they need a lot more drivers to get rid of those contractors. I'm not sure if a misdemeanor from 3+ years ago is a deal-breaker but give it a shot, fill out the online app.
