Destin FL and up it looks like will have wind and rain predicted in the AM Monday to 1pm, it depends on how far it swings east or west though, so far. It most likely will cross over I-10 for sure, heading north toward Montgomery, and then eventually to the Ohio Valley. Destin and Panama City have gusty winds already with red flags out at Destin Beaches. One weather report has winds at 50mph and pressure at 994mb as of 4:00 pm CDT, but it is still out from the coastline a little ways. Predicted landfall was it looked like somewhere around 80 mph winds. Some of the strongest wind gusts in Florida so far include St. Petersburg (39 mph), Tampa (37 mph) and Sarasota (35 mph).

This is a tool that surfers use:
earth :: a global map of wind, weather, and ocean conditions
You can zoom in and out on this to check wind speed. Just tap it or click where you want with your mouse to check wind speed. Speed is in kph just multiply by .63 to get an estimate of mph. I believe you configure it to mph if you want.
For rain try this:
It’s from NOAA no wacky weather shows. Just refresh the screen from time to time. If you tap the screen in an area it will give you the NOAA weather station closest to you tap.
NWS - National Mosaic Enhanced Radar Image: Full Resolution Loop
Obviously neither of these should used while you’re driving. They have a lot to look at...NavigatorWife Thanks this. -

I did use Weather Underground, but for some reason my Win 10/pain in the tush computer and it do not cooperate anymore. It did have the projected windspeed for areas.
We live off Hwy 80, husband uses 80 to 231 in the reverse when coming from Brundidge AL. J -
