You seem like a good guy so I’m not wanting to insult you but that’s just not how it works. If all the wages increase so will the cost of all the products to cover the costs created by wage increases thus creating inflation. At that point $15 won’t be enough and they’ll want $25. I’ll say this again for posterity, minimum wage was never intended to be a living wage. You show me someone who has been at minimum wage for an extended period of time and I’ll show you someone who has caused their own problems to keep them there.
I asked earlier and I’ll ask again, if $15 is good why not $30?
Can this be a great thing moving forward?

General flatbed rates have never been so high. Even adjusted for inflation. They are the same as ever out west though lol. Most of the guys I talk to with their authority are making between 7-9k gross to the truck without really trying too hard. Like 2000 miles a week making 7k. Everyone can hate on the ELD mandate but the reason a lot of those guys are able to even stay in business is that the rates have skyrocketed. A monkey with DOT number and their own equipment could succeed right now.
