Because of my illness I sometime have to listen to classical music to sooth or calm down after a seizure. One of my favorite pieces is the one in the YT link posted. This Guy's last Name is not pronounced wag-ner, it is va-gner. Being from the south you don't know how many people look at me when I say that name properly.

There is a small town in the upstate of South Carolina. It is spelled Walhalla. You would never believe all the tales of where this name came from. The town was founded by German's and was at one time named Valhalla. The Germans really love words that start with the letter V. Richard Wagner was German.

Pros: Having the open road be your office.
The self gratitude you feel when you make a turn you didnt think you could make or bag into a tight spot.
Money most trucking jobs pay weekly.
Not having a nosey or jealous boss or employee following you around all day. You get freedom just you and the open road.
You're treated differently by companies because you now have a skilled trade not just anyone can do.

    Cons: 4 wheelers
    Super Truckers
Working long hours with very little sleep
    Dealing with shippers and recievers
    Losing time with family

These are the sacrifices that you'll have to make it will be rough at first adapting to it but if you can weather the storm trucking can be a very lucrative business the sky is the limit the more experience you get the more doors will open up for you. Good luck on your decision.

Doo boys, Pa. not Due Bwahh.

There was a recent paper submitted for peer review that looked at road rage. It turns out that driving has you in a “fight or flight” state pretty much most of the time. Add the speed to it, and the smallest driving infraction has people literally reacting as if they’re fighting for their lives (and that may be true occasionally). Turns out the ancient reptilian side of our brain takes over and people respond like barbarians. Often times people who drive for a living learn to rationalize the danger and drive in a heightened state of zen. Your mind gets very efficient at decision making while behind the wheel.

It also turns out that most people are just ######## and they are exerting a territorial response much in the same way that ####er sits in his car for an additional 15-30 seconds when your waiting for his parking spot at the mall.

Ya, if you want to sound like a inlander kook refer to it as “Cali”. It’s California.

I wonder what the rate is for new drivers not being able to pass their second physical due to high blood pressure.

Interesting. I don’t know. From the physiques I’ve seen, and talk I hear on here I think pre-diabetic and hypertension probably run hand in hand
