You need to listen to every one but I will give you a warning, you may not get anything out of the company.
If you are dealing with witnesses, they can't be relied on to be truthful. -
All we know is damage happned, pictutes of some random truck was taken, and the helpful driver claims it was the random truck that did the damage.
I could claim the be Cleopatra, Queen of the Nile. Will not make it true.... -
Lastly, find a secure place to leave your truck, not a truck stop.

I believe the witness. The trailer that she hit my truck with show evidence of damaged and the color of my truck. pictures show all this. “Helpful driver” is a car hauler. The driver who clipped my truck drives for a reefer companyZVar Thanks this. -
I believe you
You have pics
Any chance we can see them -
Kinda foolish on your part. You pay thousands of dollars for insurance and you decide to do all the runaround work???? What you should have done was called your insurance after you made a police report which you didn’t do and give them all the pictures and witness statement. Your insurance would pay for the repairs and then go after the company. No penalty to you. I have had to do it this way. Unless there is a part of the story you are leaving out. Maybe you don’t have insurance. That’s the only thing I can think of especially if you seriously have to ask this question On a forum as a bussiness owner.
The other company giving you the runaround too becuase they think you are shady for not calling police or not contacting your insurance and letting them handle it -

I will post something that will explain my point.
I had a driver accused of running into a truck when backing his up. My trucks have both dash cams and side view cams that gets recorded, they can record a while on one SD card.
It turns out that the witness was lying to cover for his friend who hit the truck. The company threaten to sue us based on the initial report that the driver made to the cops, the insurance company turned into real PIA and we ended up threatening to sue the company, the insurance company and the driver for making a false police report. The video, the logs and Qualcomm location hits two hours before my driver provided our proof it wasn't our truck.
I will tell you I did recover the legal costs of this crap, my lawyer submitted a $13k bill to the carrier which they paid. -
Pay for a secure place to park or pay for damages and downtime from parking at a truck stop for free.
Penny wise pound foolish, IMO.
15 years as an O/O without any problems parking at a TS? No stolen fuel? Just chalk it up as a cost of doing bushiness that way and move on.buddyd157 Thanks this.
