I just don't get why they stick tempered glass in construction machine cabs. I don't think its durable enough. We started putting lexan windows in our skid steers just because they'd blow out all the time. Either operators slam them too hard or they take a hit while on the job.

Hey JD, what brand of trailer is that 1250 sitting on? It looks like a nice trailer but I am not familiar with it.

Does the lexan scratch and get cloudy?

Our skid steer has curved glass...…..the only time that we (I) broke it is when I was removing an auger from a post hole digger. I lifted up the driver and the auger tipped toward the skid steer. Since then I have banned myself from using the skid steer (I might have an ulterior motive, and the boys are better with it than me).

It does scratch, mostly because operators stick their dirty boots up on the glass during breaks.

I've seen it about 50/50 on windshields, which was why I asked.

    MartinFromBC and Oxbow Thank this.

Zoe was so disappointed that she didn’t get to growl at you when we were under that way ... hope everything is good for you and that you aren’t working too hard.

When. Unloaded at Holt there was a guy with a brand new steerable 16 tire cozad, it was cool

Sorry I missed you but I had some other responsibilities. Next time maybe. The triple 16 steerables are just plain fun to watch. I worked on Wed for the regular driver while he was in court trying to beat a ticket. They are looking for a 3rd truck so they can use an old geezer driver more often................

    stupid question

why are these loads blocked up so high? (16", 14")

I'm not seeing anything that they are hitting on, or am I just not seeing?

    Always wanting to learn.

    thanks
