X15 Performance- Working good?

    Men, spec'ing a new wide hood but have heard zero about the latest Cummins setup. We have them now in 4 of our wide hoods and truthfully, their garbage. I'd rather get another Western Star but the salesman wont get back to me. Whos pulling with one, big torque and big horse? Any issues yet? Thanks for the input.

    Ive got 17,000/460hrs on mine now and put it to work the week after thanksgiving. 388 pete 565/2050 18 3.58's 11r22.5's gossing up to 105,500 in the northwest. I pull pneumatic trailers so I get a lot of hours unloading. Running 5mpg avg right now and am only loaded 50% of the time sense we do food grade. Running great. First oil change was at 10,000 and going to keep it at 10,000 mile oil changes sense I get a lot of hours.

    Yes, we have a handful of them in Wide Hood KW's, couple 2009's, couple 2012's. They were all factory 600's. Have been nothing but a nightmare. In fact one of the 12's was repowered last May with a C15, one of our 09's is in the shop now getting a C15 swapped in. Lots of turbos and heads. In fact one of them is on its 3rd head. We even cut 3 of them back to 550... Still they don't want to stay together. These have been factory spec turbos as well so we can keep the 3 stage Jakes. So before I bought one and went broke I was wondering how the latest generation was working. I talked to a fella yesterday that had a few of them on the road and so far so good. Ill probably try my luck.

    Do you guys even know about the fuel pump issues with the CM-2250 and CM-2350 motors? How about the liner issues? All can be fixed if you have a shop. But still, a sad commentary on Cummins.

    2018 w900L, isx-15, 525/1850, 13, 3.55
    Currently at 30k miles 9k hours.
    Truck averages 7+ mpg under light load.
    Grossed out, around 5.5.
    Not 1 issue from the factory, at least not on the engine. Truck build quality it's atrocious..

    9,000 hours? Do you not ever shut the truck off? Because thats a 3.33 mile ler hour average.

    I have 0 first hand knowledge of the X15, but everyone I've talked to that has one is happy, or at least no issues.

    Most have been FedEx drivers. So that's not the big HP engine either.
