Did they stick a giant needle in your elbow?
Did it hurt?
Wished Scotty was there he'd filmed it.

Honestly the worst thing you can do is spray everything. Your body needs to be exposed to germs to build an immunity to them. I wash my hands because the thought of eating without having washed them is gross to me, but I'm rarely ever sick and I use TS showers and towels, I dont put anything on the toilet when I sit if its visibly clean, etc.
-
Well, I'm not totally convinced on the exposed to germs part at truck stops when it comes to brushing your teeth, cause half a dozen times, I've gotten infected gums.
It sucks for 2 or 3 days, bleeds, but goes away.
I take 5 star care of my teeth.
Once I almost went to a dentist to get some antibiotics, then it cleared the next morning.
Anyone that will brush their teeth using the water/sink in the men's room at the Petro Little Rock, is one brave man. -
Well I guess I was lucky when I was OTR. I used a lot of showers never caught anything used their towels didn't wear shower shoes.I did use my soap and shampoo and stood on towels when bare foot even in shower. Didn't sit on the benches without a towel on it.

So can you still drive?
Is the load late?
Did they stick a giant needle in your elbow? -
I would have been there late Saturday night, but ended up dropping it last night instead. Was still 24hrs b4 the DDT.
Dont usually get that much extra time but was lucky on this load.
As far as driving, I pretty much drove the last 2 days one armed.. I'm getting some work done on the truck today at one of our terminals and going to do a 34 while I'm here to give my arm some rest to see what happens.
Arm is still very much swollen, and reading online it says it can take as much as a month to go back to normal.Last edited: Jun 4, 2018

Infection. If an injury at the tip of the elbow breaks the skin, such as an insect bite, scrape, or puncture wound, bacteria may get inside the bursa sac and cause an infection. The infected bursa produces fluid, redness, swelling, and pain. -

Whatever happened with your fuel issue? Filters? -
Was all warranty but I got a $3,000 oil change between the tow and my hotel bill I wasnt reimbursed for..
Wasnt a water in fuel issue or anything, when changed the fuel filter it was dirty but wasnt full of water. I guess maybe it threw that code because something was going wrong and the filter was dirty. (I was on the way to have my first PM done on the truck the following Tuesday when I broke down)
I dont like giant needles.. 8(Last edited: Jun 4, 2018
