I take it you went to school in Richfield? You’ve been on here a while and I should know. Sometimes I’m not a very smart man.

If you trained with Jamie, your state DOT test with Eric will be a breeze. Eric is very thorough but he’s a very friendly hand. He’ll make you feel at ease.

Yep, maneuvers will be as you stated. You will not be required to parallel park, though I highly suggest you know how to do it in the real world.

Road test. You will run the same routes Jamie took you on during school. Maybe a little different but in the same area. Just do not drag a curb or exceed the speed limit,,, that’s automatic failure. My score was perfect except for swinging too wide on corners,,, lol, I can handle that.

So far as the slack adjusters on the front of a 19, the fronts are disc brakes like my 18. Air over hydraulic. Air operates the brake chamber. The brake chamber actuates the hydraulic caliper which is self adjusting by nature. EDIT: you are correct in there are no slack adjusters on the steer axle brakes of a 2019 or 2018.

    Clear as mud? Lolz,,,

    Where y’all at?
Just finished up my longest run with Millis so far. Loaded in Waco TX Fri evening and delivered Fulton NY about lunch today. Made for a 3600 mile week with a day short from Memorial Day. I could have been in Fulton early this morning but had HOS issues. Lolz,,,

I stopped in Weedsport to fuel on the way in just knowing I was gonna reload at AB but no. I sat for an hour at Fulton, my 14 was crap and William knew it. He’s good and smooth. I get to recap a few hours, reload in Avon NY in the morning headed for Ames IA all the while recapping some crap hours. William beats me up on the weekends though. Hurts so good.

Began week 2 in Trenton this morning. Range work all day. Alley dock and sight side parallel was the orders for the day.

Keep up that range work Don. It really is invaluable.
The sight side and blind side parallel parking is important to me because so many older rest areas are parallel park. You get to a shipper/receiver and a truck is called out of line, you can jump in his spot if you can put your rig in that hole.
Be good at backing up your ride. Makes ya feel like a rock Star every time you hit it without a pull up. Yes, other drivers notice.

Hope to get to Trenton before you test out out.

    Lol great response thanks!
I actually went to Trenton and was told to test in Wisconsin.
    Was told to call Jamie?
Not knowing the route might make it tougher
I was also told you take it in Beloit.
Thought I was crazy for not seeing the slack adjuster lol
Week two on road and all is well

    Farmer54 Thanks this.

Owens Brockway in Waco TX can suck a big fn dick!!!!! #### Texas in general what a cluster #### of a day....260miles driven and 3hrs left on my 14

Oh and the zip code to zip code bs really needs dealt with. Deliver on very north end of Ft Worth and get sent to the Burleson terminal and only get paid 8 fn empty miles when it takes 57 fn mins to get there. Only profession allowed to work for free I swear

You didn’t have to load at dock 4 did ya? Piles of broken glass everywhere and they want you to flip the trailer around? I got caught in that trap and #### near bent a cab extender. I backed out of it and blind sided for what seemed like 30 minutes. OI Waco? Nope.
