I did , with that statment.
Oh and by the way I'm a TRUCK RESORT type and the places listed just aren't that bad and certainly don't fall into a worst TS category.

The love’s near Seattle Washington I think it’s in Tacoma if I remember correctly. It’s ALWAYS full since parking is hard to find near Seattle. The spots you will find there in the night are the spots that even the most experienced truck driver doesn’t want to do or idiot make a spots that block other truck drivers.

I agree. I thought people people would have mentioned some of those infamous places. Like the old Walt Whitman Truck Stop. Or the old Steel City Truck stop in Gary Indiana (where the Petro is. Its funny...The Petro was where the J is at exit 14, and the J was where the Loves is across from where the Petro is now. Years ago, when I was a company schmuck, I always went to the J because the J would give you a shower ticket and a 24 ounce steak dinner with all the trimmings. Heck, I didn't pay for fuel, I went to where the food was free.)

The worst one nowadays? Has to be that TA in Montgomery.

Loves in Atoka, OK? Is that sorry excuse for a truck stop still there?

Then there's that other crappy Loves in Elk City that is perhaps a sorrier excuse for a truck stop than the one in N Little Rock that burned.

Hah I had to go there a couple times. Gotta love the Petro that has over half of its parking spots pay to park. Good side is there’s always easy/semi easy parking

Honestly with some notible exceptions most all of todays truck stops are the worse ones. Horrible service. Almost everything is over priced. Almost all of them are catering to non CMVs. Like I said some exceptions. The rest make me glad I'm not having to deal with them now. As somebody that remembers the Union 76 truck stops of the 60s and what the Petros of the 70s and early 80s were, these dang places today are more where steering wheel holders go play bumper car derby.
