From what I've seen on here from drivers, I'd list them in this order:
    1. Henderson
    2. MVT
    3. TransAm

There's some faster trucks out there for new drivers:
Abilene Motor Express - 72 mph
    Titan Transfer - 70 mph

TransAm governs at different speed for company and lease trucks.
If I remember correct, it is 62 for a company driver 64 for a lease driver. Something like that.

I started at TransAm and I don't recommend them as a starter company. Unless you have a problem like a criminal conviction, problem in your work or driving history, then maybe give them a look. They are a second chance company. With that in mind, the TransAm drivers you work with may not be at the top rung of the social ladder.

Some real shady characters. My new driver trainer was an angry ex-con had done four years in the joint. Challenged me to a fight in a customer's parking lot, drove with road rage, etc. I called into the TransAm training manager and left a couple of messages about it, he never called me back. Spent my "training time" managing that ####### more so than learning anything about trucking.

I work for them. They're gov at 64. Some at 62. I've flown and recovered a few trucks for them.

They only good thing I have heard about Trans Am is they do have nice equipment (Kenworths). Their pay is very low and they put intense pressure on new drivers to enter their lease program which may be the worst in the trucking industry. I just started with Earl Henderson and like what I have seen with this company so far. No far western US runs (solo drivers normally don't go west of Denver CO) to California or steep mountain driving. in the Pacific Northwest.

I just got picked up by Henderson, and am leaving Tuesday for Caseyville. I did a lot of research on Indeed and Glass Door to get an overall feel for the company. They seem pretty solid and well thought of.
