Gonna try ATS for a year

Had a hub leak on drive wheel. Went to a TA and they fixed it. Was waiting to see how they charged me. Don’t see where they did. Had 1200 in maintenance account, now have 1400. Maybe it was the warranty I got extra. So that didn’t hurt at all.
Got $2300 for last week. PM and replace hub. Decent week. Started week in GA. Had some home time. 2 good loads this week. I’m thinking 2k for 4 days

Getting my 2nd O/D load Friday for Monday I’ll move up eventually,but doing fine anyway

 

Took awhile but just noticed my maintenance account. Down $400. They did take it out after all. I knew it was strange lol

I have something else to check on though. Hav an appt tues 0530 in St. Cloud. Deliver Monday and have a preload going right to the shop. Works out great

 

The load I picked up Friday was beyond a cluster f

After they changed the load and driving to the other side of town I was met with 5 crates. I asked the approximate weight to load properly.

He meant 6800. Loaded them and made BOL. Signed and they left. Didn’t take me last not to secure and leave
About 45 miles up the road they called and saw d they forgot some stuff. Had to go back and get more stuff from a 3rd location. Jeez, all over town. It was 2 loads and they tried to pull one over on ATS

Let’s just say the 68k was close to the total weight

Weird week on loads. Delivering 3rd tomorrow. Low mile week around 1800 when empty. I might try and snatch a long load for Monday after. Chill some. Should get about 1800 this week. Good week, just weird. Can’t describe it lol

Helped some guy at a shipper. He never picked up machinery or bobcats before. I had 1 bobcat and 2 excavators. I used mine as an example since that’s all he had on his load. Showed him the proper way. I wasn’t in a hurry, so I helped a dude out. He truly had no idea what to do

But leasing a new truck to own to someone from a “prime” company and throw them to the wolves............

Got a decent load for Monday. 4800 to truck

$150 tarp
$1000 reposition tractor
Had to go get an rgn
(Now we’re cooking with peanut oil)

After all fixed and variable costs and fuel, still over 3k to me by Monday

1300 loaded
460 deadhead

 

Those things are older than Eisenhower

 

Gonna deliver this load Saturday. Should be a $5800 settlement next week

Also just a tip

If your westbound on an interstate and exit for the day and you turn left to get to truck stop be careful at 2am. Don’t turn right on interstate. You may go 25 miles before you realize it. Gotta trust me
