Thanks, that actually sounds good to me at this time.
I am making $330 a week right now on unemployment, which will run out in a few months. So a steady paycheck of $350 a week is better than nothing.
I have my Army retirement pension, some income from a duplex I own, as well as my Wife's income, so $350 a week will be enough to cover my basic bills. Anything above that will be extra gravy.
If I would have known finding a job in civilian life would be this tough, I would not have retired from the Army after 23 years and stayed in for the entire 30 year hitch.

feel sorry for you !!!!!!
don't expect to make over 450.00 aweek in reg. -
werner only wants to keep that truck moving 24hrs a day. they do not care if your in the cab or someone else. they will just keep sending you home adding more trainies.

Retired military here too. I think there are better options out there than werner. If you are determined to go to the "Big Blue Screw" get your one year experience and move on. (in reality one year in trucking is about 14 to 18 months) because future employers will take off training time.
