You should quit and give up your CDL. If you can't be bothered to Get Out And Look, or bother to pay attention to your surroundings, then you have no business in a truck. Sorry if the truth hurts. But that's the truth.

For an industry with no loyalty, and then be treated like a mushroom, I don't believe 99.9% of companies deserve a 2week notice.

Will these companies give you any notice they are going to terminate you? Of course not. Giving them a notice only aggravate them, and then they try to see how bad they can screw you.

I've given a notice, then told "Go back out in the yard and clean out your truck, if you don't want to be here, we don't want you here"

man no reason to be rude. Those 6 little things mostly consist of busting up 2 backup cameras feom unhooking. 2 satelights. One blind side mirror and the time i backed in between two truvks that were both on my yellow lines and i had to 90 it.

Seriously? You think those are all valid reasons for tearing up someone else's property? Into my second decade of doing this. And you've had more incidents than I've had flat tires.

I'm far from it. But I pride myself on Not Tearing Up Other Peoples Stuff. And that is fairly easy to do.
