I transferred the load from this trailer to a clean trailer in the yard. Company driver picked up with it and noticed the springs after words. How many months do think this trailer was like this?

When I run the system I try to stay with the same trailer because of stuff like that some guys don’t pay attention and some just don’t care . I got 3 level one inspection and passed them all. Key is I kept the same trailer lolBud A., G13Tomcat and slim shady Thank this.

I had thoughts about that today. The trailer I hooked upto today had the brakes out of wack. They lock up to quick. When I did flat. I would adjust them once a month or six weeks and theat was good.Orange713 Thanks this.

Wow. I volunteered for a luberzol pick up and drop off. Deer park Texas to Pasadena Texas. 0800 to 1315. The unload 1345 to 2200. Not done yet. Demurage is today and sleeping in the truck. 3:15 + 6:15= 9.50 or 450 ish
Bud A., 88 Alpha, slim shady and 1 other person Thank this. -
I had just the opposite yesterday. Got to my delivery site and I was told that the customer had no room for the product. Waited almost an hour before dispatch told me to drop the tanker and come home. Apparently, this isn't the first time this particular customer had done this. It's amazing to me that some office clown isn't getting his ### chewed for these screw ups. That's going to be another costly mistake. How do you hide a bill for bobtailing back for the pickup of an empty tanker?Bud A. Thanks this.

It's just the way it works. I worked in an ethanol plant. Each side made $30k an hour of product. Two sides mirrors of each other. Depending on the margins it was 2k per side to around $7k an hour "profit", not including salaries, tax,.... A chemical plant can be a different world. $500 a day for a truck to be held over for next day isn't great but not end of the world, depending.Bud A., spindrift and slim shady Thank this.

I've been running the same route for 2 weeks now, Been hooked to the Same tank everyday.
Brand new tank also. Its nice knowing what you got and not having to deal with another drivers half assed post trip. I was all ready for the DOT harassment last week, But didn't even see one truck being inspected all 3 daysBud A., ChicagoJohn, G13Tomcat and 2 others Thank this. -
Chemical plants don't like paying the extra money but they know that it happens and is a part of their business. That's one thing I like about tanker. I was sent over 400 miles From sw Arkansas to pick up an empty trailer that had to be left at a customer. But since the load originated in Houston, I was paid for the 700 mile round trip. Happens like that often.
