I guess it is what it is. Because it performs worse when at 3000 feet or higher one driver suggested filters were clogged blocking air slightly. Next stop pm with filter changes.
Don't misunderstand.except for that one flaw I'm loving this Kw.

Doesn't it have an air restriction on the filter housing?

    Looks like this.....

    0FF4BA76-ECE2-4D07-A030-137D34658ED1.jpeg

It should be on the air piping between air filter and engine....

    UturnGirl and spyder7723 Thank this.

Sorry. Left the word gauge out of the post. Obviously my brain is to old and slow for multi tasking.

Where are you at 3,000 feet?

    Define performs worse please.

    I'm looking at a 680, that probably has the same power train, it's a 500 horse, but it's a 13 speed.

I just know if yours was plumbed as a 13, it would do much better. That 3.21 ratio needs that extra gearing.

I know I should stop whining....
3000 + feet in southern Virginia across blue ridge. With loads of 40+ have to go to 5th gear crawl at 20 mph. Same grade% same length same weight on i49 Arkansas can do it in 8th 45mph.

If that is accurate then there is something very wrong with that truck. There isn't a single pull with a legal weight load on any interstate in the lower 48 that should require dropping to 5th.
