FFE (Frozen Food Express) has some decent coast to coast team runs. One driver that posts on here said he can make $1500 a week sometimes. @TravR1 is the guy!

Yeah I'm teaming right now even though id prefer solo. The checks are better at the company I am with. They get the better runs and they get them more quickly than a solo driver.
It took me about two months to get used to sleeping in a moving truck.
No matter what your codriver will try your patience from time to time. Nasty habits like chewing with mouth open, leaving curtain open with lights on in the back, not driving when they say they will making you late, not throwing out trash.. Etc etc, the list is limitless. But it can pay well too. I avg checks around 1300-1800. 1500 being about Avg.
It's not bad. Fun overall.Lepton1, BillStep, RedRover and 1 other person Thank this. -

The most money I have consistently made in trucking was running team at Swift on a dedicated account. 7000+ miles a week with a 34 every week, and my checks were usually pretty #### good.
I make more now, but that’s because I’ve got experience and this company pays more. If you can handle teaming, by all means team. You’ll definitely make more out of the gate. -

Benefits: Can make a lot more $$, long-distance runs, someone there to help troubleshoot.
Cons: Sleeping while moving blows, you never have a moment’s peace, putting up with some annoying douche in your truck -
Their. Driving academy is pretty good imo. You just show up and learn to drive. They give you a room and 3 square a day. Once you finish, you drive for a year and owe nothing after that. If you leave the cost is 4000. Every week you drive takes money out of what you owe. So id you drive six months nd decide to leave, you will owe them 2000, not the full 4000.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
One of my codrivers loved using the air horn. He would blow over every little thing and that still wakes me up even now. Air horn usage should be for emergency use only, not to let everyone know you are annoyed.
Think about your codriver in the back sleeping before you sound off like a freight train.. And dont blast music.Metallica88 and Lepton1 Thank this. -
The worst month I ever experienced as a driver was that first month with a trainer living in a truck with him. That experience made me realize how much I enjoy my privacy. Team driving for me isn't worth it at any price.
Metallica88 Thanks this.
