Jumping back to refers for a moment.

On average what do you do for produce? Sometimes I see Ice in boxes at the grocery store.

Only certain product is iced. They blow it in on it after loading. Every type of produce has a different handling and temp procedure. Corn for example is iced and the reefer set at 32 if i remember right. Strawberries are shipped at 34. Etc. Been almost ten years now since i got fed up with reefers and turned mine into a storage shed.

That poster wss flooding many threads today. It happens every once in a while. Pure spam.

But i think ttr mods shouldn't be so quick with three ban hammer, they should give the spammers time to state what their business name is so we know who NOT to do business with.

Second week of June was pretty good for me. I dialed it back to 2,000 last week as opposed to the 2,650 miles I ran the previous week. Almost wore me out, like I needed a week's vacation to recover ;-)

Anywho, the rates are really nice right now. Last week I expressed to a broker who has been great to work with, that although I really like doing business with him, I was concerned I might be leaving money on the table. He bumped my rate by 15% almost instantly. That was following a 20% bump last month as well ;-)

My running average is $3.05 ALL miles for the month. Which is, as I say, not too bad for a window licking dry van operator on the I-5 in the PNW.

Also, a follow-up on my health focus. As of today I'm down 43 lbs in 9 weeks. My goal is a 100 lb loss, yes, I know, I'm fat! LOL

I went to see my doctor yesterday for a follow-up. His PA asked me how I've managed to lose that much weight so far. I responded, "the only way I know how."

She gave a puzzled look, "how's that?"

To which I responded, "eat less and move a little more!" Real scientific, eh? :)

Anyways, here's the kicker. My doctor asked me to do a home sleep study test, so, I did. The results showed I have "Mild" sleep apnea. Not moderate, not severe, MILD! I averaged 9.4 apneas per hour lasting no more than 1 second per event.

Guess what I get to wear at night now?
