Hmmmm. Looking at the dash on the 680, I can't figure out where they would drill holes in it to mount e log.

Mine is mounted between the main cluster and the left center air vent.

I only have 14 months experience OTR, but during that time I have had a 2014 & a 2018 Cascadia and am now in a 2015 T680. The table option in the T680 is great, combined with the passenger seat that swivels to the rear. Makes for great working space without eliminating much of your underbunk storage. The T680 drives and handles much better than either Cascadia, also. That being said, both Cascadias had much more storage space and room to move around than the T680. My wife travels with me, so we really notice the lack of space compared to the Cascadia. The T680 bottom bunk is larger than the Cascadia, however. The T680 interior definitely has more utility for a solo driver and is generally nicer to drive than the Cascadia. The 2018 Cascadia pitched and rolled like a boat in a way that the 2014 Cascadia never did, and the 2018 also had horrible wind noise. So on that basis, I would take the T680 as a solo driver. Traveling with a partner, it's a toss-up Once we adjust to the T680 I don't think it will be an issue, though.

One of the nice options that I had in the 2018 Cascadia was the huge empty hole where I put my own full-size mini-fridge (about 34" high). I can adjust to the smaller fridge space in the T680 with the trade-off of having the swing-out table, though.

The fridge compartment is one of the cat cubbies they enjoy most.

And the other side is used up as well.

I don't think I'd want them drilling extra holes in anything. Just leave it lieing on the floor.
