Take a bath and brush your teeth. If you chew or dip go without that day. Wear clean clothes. You are not interviewing to be a bank president so stay away from a business suit. My last interview was for a safety position a while back. I wore jeans with a flannel shirt. Wear clothing suitable for work. Depending on how the interview goes you might do a driving test. By the way, I have spoken to people that do these interviews. If you interview in unsuitable clothing they will make fun if you later. Same advice for the ladies. Do not wear a dress. Also go easy on the perfume. DO NOT WEAR HIGHHEELS. Remember you might be asked to take a driving test. Dress that way!

Not too high. Never a bad idea to show a little belly as well. I’ll keep maybe 3-4 buttons on in the middle. Top few and bottom few remain undone. Summer time is great for interviews because if you dress like that and they have a fan going in the room, your practically going to be Fabio.

    Ok.

I wore a baby blue button up with a blue pattern tie and khakis pants. I walked out an hour later with an offer of employment.

    Thanks everyone,.

i say. dress like you would dress every day. and then change your wardrobe to suite so you look like job interview day every day.

    wouldnt that be ideal.

but it is important how you dress. it shouldnt just quit after the interview. ya know. keep yourself proffessional. simple and clean..

It depends on the area a little bit. The ###-less chaps could work total wonders in more liberal places, but have more of a bold “I’m my own person” impression in other areas. Either way, you have the job

I wore a dark polo, khakis, black boots, and had a watch on my wrist. No hat.

Wore my nice platinum blonde hair hat, pink tutu, ruby slippers and my fairy wand when I got hired. They told me the wand sealed the deal for them.
