This is not a bash or rumor attempt. I am a current employee for TMC. I have heard rumors of TMC being acquired by Anderson trucking. I have been scouring with no luck. I do know that today I just watched ALOT of drivers get fired today. They are saying to them its things like OOR, truck revenue, etc. They bring drivers in under false pretenses like drug screens and truck service and then safety calls them in and fires them. I have heard many many rumors as to why and how many. I do not want to start rumors, so the facts are they are firing alot of people and they are screwing them royaly in the process. I am witnessing this first hand at the Indianapolis terminal, and I am very concerned for these people. I am even more concerned there seems to be nothing out there abnout it or why. They are not saying anything to us about it, or its purpose or reason. I know good guys, with exceptional records, getting canned. Can anybody help? Has anyone heard anything? I assure this is really going on, not a rumor. Thanks.

Thank you....
Now do yourself a favor...sell all the t.m.c. Fuel ya can and sell it for cash to owner op's at the pilot...before t.m.c. Gets you.you must get them before they get you.lol, lol, lol
i have heard the same stuff talking to t.m.c. Drivers in k.c....you are right....
It's ok.tell them vinnie from n.y. Said it's ok.... -
This is no small thing. Posts of this nature are popping up all over the site.
Big things are happening at TMC, and they're not for the better. TMC posts treating drivers like dirt are outnumbering Swift, CRE, Werner, Covenant, USX, probably combined. Looks like we have a new driver mill.
It's been curious how they've been able to keep hiring at the rate they are over the past couple months with all the freezes. It's going to be difficult to recommend them at this point, which I've been doing a lot based on all the old research.1pissedoffdriver Thanks this. -
Tmc is coming to an end .......lol,lol,lol
good, back years ago they came in and cut all the flatbedders rates and ma and pa business's.i hope they go under...i will laugh...
What comes around goes around....
But you are right.they are popping up fast on here.. -
I don't know of any details to this, but right now co's are struggling to get by. That is the importance of being an asset to a company by keeping a low profile by doing your job well which includes low OOR miles, good fuel mileage and running your truck smart. The ones that tear things up, and have a don't give a flip outlook are the first ones that will get the ax. Most of the time what seems to be the problem isn't the problem. I know several drivers from my co that were cut. Most don't want to think that them costing the co a lot of money had anything to do with it.

I think you're completely right when it comes to Maverick, but they weren't hiring 5 people out of every CDL graduating class in thier area for the last 5 months. Maverick is dealing with cutbacks about as honorably as possible. In a perfect world they would just layoff people without the nitpicking to deny unemployment, but I can see how they are justified.
TMC is just straight up cleaning house and replacing veterans with new drivers.1pissedoffdriver Thanks this. -
corporate GREEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD -
I have not heard that about tmc. Was not sure what is going on over there.

Well if they are cleaning out experienced guys only to be replacing them with new
hires that is a big gamble and very short sided approach. Most successful companies
do things for the long term effects. New drivers both experienced and student usually
will cost you more in the long run due to accidents, being late and excess fuel
consumption just to name a few. Sounds like Wal-Mart Economics 101 is in full
effect at TMC....Wen782 and panhandlepat Thank this. -
Well I called today about my application and was told i was rejected. I only have 7 months otr and i had a speeding ticket last year in my p.o.v. 55 in a 35 thats the only negative on my record but i am beginning to think that it is a big one even though its my only one it is 20 mph over posted speed limit
