Don't take this the wrong way...but why would anybody want to do sleeper team?...when you can be home every day, sleeping in your own bed, spending time with the family, and still make over $100k...City or Road.
You'll spend more time locked in small quarters with another guy...getting to know all his bad habits and bodily functions...probaly more than you would your own family...not being able to sleep, bouncing around in the bunk, can't play music or talk on the phone...all because your co driver also needs to get some sleep as well...trusting your life to someone who probably is also barely getting any sleep. Not worth it IMO...no matter how good the money is.
But to answer your question, I would probably suggest googling UPSF on google maps and call the terminal and talk to the TM. There can't be more than 3, maybe 4 terminals in each state...so it's not like you'll be spending all day making phone calls. Or talk to the Union and see if they can help you out. Sleeper teams to my understanding is based off of seniority and the senior driver gets to pick who he teams with...that's if anybody wants to do it...otherwise it's contracted out.
Good luck.Last edited: Jul 1, 2018
