I just bump down to 8th and let the truck roll. Even if I'm heavy, the brakes will barely get touched. The grade on that hill isn't that bad. Jelico is WAY worse....

In BRF for the night. Delivering Eau Claire in the morning.

Went to dispatch to get the keys to the Blue Groovin’ van, and who did I meet? Marco. Marco has dispatched me several times and always had positive vibes with him. Marco is a cool cat. He and I shot the ####e for several minutes before the heavens decided to open up and dump water.
Again, every single office person I actually meet with Millis is just like us.
Here’s a tip for newbies. Personal hygiene. Never miss a chance to take a shower. If your schedule dictates that you can’t take time to shower, have a bunch of Baby Wipes on hand to hit the “high spots” as Mama used to say. With our fueling solutions, there is no reason whatsoever not to get a free shower at least every other day.
Millis drivers are a cut above the rest.

I heard the Jake controls are on the steering wheel in the 19's. If so, that would be cool. I.e., Monteagle with 46k. Both sides I go down in 8th but toggling Jake stages between 2 and 3. Touch the service brake maybe once.
    First world problems.

They are and it is nice, so is the two extra gears.
Only thing I want to downshift to control my speed loss.
Down to 11 it shifts up to 12, the 17’s would let you do that.
And I like the extra room with the shifter being on the column

I know there’s a country fest deal going on in downtown Milwaukee this weekend, Blake Shelton is singin Friday night and not sure the rest of the weekend. Were heading up there on Saturday afternoon til Tuesday.
The wife’s work pays for a weekend away and calls it a “summer conference” every year, kind of nice they pay for everything including mileage and the wifey has to attend some meetings while I’m free todo whatever. So if your around Downtown Milwaukee this weekend let me know.

I looked it up on the net, cuz I was cusrios. Apparently the event I delivered to isn't actually happening until the 19th. I had no idea it takes that long to set up a show like that. Decent lineup too. I'm not much of a country fan, but I'd go to that if I was around. Looks fun :)

You're almost to the Great White North man. They move at a different pace up there.
