Before you all start throwing rocks and booing and hissing, let me give a little background. I am a third generation truck driver currently in law enforcement. I have been around trucking my entire life, and it is my passion. My grandfather and father both drive trucks, and I drove both otr and local. I live down here in central MS and look forward to making some friends. I have been lurking and impressed with the level of intelligence and vast knowledge of these members. I will be quiet now but try and post some pics soon. Shogun
Greetings from a deputy sheriff

Hi, shogun, Welcome to our Truckers Forum! We hope you enjoy your stay and please read our RULES. Please remember, you are NEVER allowed to post e-mails, ad links, trucking company links, personal site links, and such ANYWHERE in this forum. Thanks for understanding! We hope to help you and get to know you soon! Thanks, shogun!
shogun, do you have a question about how to do something? Try our FAQ section or you can PM me or a Moderator (50 posts not required to PM a Mod) to ask a question! Also, you can read through our Truckers Forum Information Center!
Also remember to get your 2009 Truckers Report Calendar AND show your love for truckers with your new Truckers Report Legal Stamps! This helps us to keep this place alive, thanks! -
Welcome to the forum! Glad you wandered in!
Won't get rock throwing or booing and hissing from most of the members around here. We have several members that have been in one variety of law enforcement or another.
Wander at will, and jump right in! -

Welcome, shogun. My wife's brother was a deputy in Arkansas where deputies own their patrol car. It is a different life style, with the police scanner in his home yammering away 24/7.

Welcome to the Forum, don't worry about being barked at a little, it happens to many of us. I'm glad to see your interest.

Well, I appreciate the warm welcome. I do drive part time, I run with a bull hauler. I know there is some serious irony between those two jobs, but I assure you I run legal and never speed. I will post pics of both rides when I figure out how. Take care, Shogun

Hey Shogun, welcome I too was in Lae Enforcement in MN but got tired of the small town political stuff and going to a bigger city was not my cup of tea. I had several offers being Bilingual in Spanish but decided to do truck driving. Less BS to pu up with.

And another welcome here from another former LE officer. Welcome to the board!
