I received a ticket 4 years ago in Louisiana. I was on a motorcycle (Speeding 95 in 35, reckless driving, no registration and no endorsement) I just got went to court bench warrant was lifted and I'm paying the ticket off. My license is UPGRADABLE in Louisiana , but will any company have me. I have not drove in 4 years b/c my suspended license but I'm ready (still young at 25)I'm realizing I need to grow up and I'm ready to have a serious position in society. Not that the last part matters.
    Thanks

try to talk with the prosecutors office. ask for clemency regarding the charges to like maybe a broken tail light, or loud muffler...BUT pay the full fine!!!

all they want is the money.

as long as all this happened on a regular license, NOT a CDL.

If he's paying it off, then the conviction is on record. Granted, it's beyond 3 years old, but the license suspension is current.

yes, but it is a non-CDL right now. i think that he might be able to get that expunged BEFORE he even applies for a CDL permit.>???

Should of asked BEFORE you went to court. All they want is the money. You might have been able to talk to prosecutor and pay a higher amount. But have charge down graded or not put on your record. Now that you have already gone to court and agreed to pay. They have no incentive to help ya out. But seeing as how this happened when you were a kid, and not in a commercial vechile it might not hold you back. As long as your record is clean since this happened.

Correction ( I lied) I am going to court in two weeks. But I have talked to a traffic attorney about the details. I am willing to pay full amount of any fine given as long as I can drive.
