Ya sticking the trailer isn't much fun. Lucky me, I had to load 22.5" of one grade, then swap grades and load to 42", for a total of about 4400 gals. My gross was 98k when I left. If you ever get the chance to load clay out of Searsport, do it. It's all done by computer there.
Where's u tankers loading at this morning

Loading Monday in Wilmington MA; new product, new lane. This resin goes to Phoenix, so it will be a nice long run about 4k miles total. I haven't done a long run like this in ages but the rate was very good so I may end up doing this more often. Definetly not looking forward to the 100+ temps, my truck ac is so/so. Most likely will tankwash locally in Phoenix and then deadhead to Houston and start working my way back east.

This might be a record for a drop and hook. Sitting here in N Chicago 6 hours and counting.
Pulled up to the plant entrance this morning and saw an ambulance coming in the opposite direction. He pulled into the plant right behind me.
It seems the guy finishing up loading the tank I need to pick up got stung by a bee and is allergic to them. They took him away in the ambulance.
Plant guy told me they had to find someone to finish loading me.
Looks like I will be working on the 4th -
....my ac is really struggling in this heat, going to have to get this looked at when i get back home in another week. So not looking forward to 110+ temps during the day.

Just did 3982 miles for the week. Started Monday in Auburn, ME, delivered in Phoenix AZ and am now in Pasadena TX. All but the final 250 miles went nice and smooth, it wasnt until I got east of San Antonio that it went to hell. Hopefully someday I-10 will get expanded to 3+ lanes... It was nice getting out of the northeast for a change, I'll probably do this run once a month.
Bud A. Thanks this. -

I still have 2 hours left on my 70. The miles really add up once you hit open roads and get out of the denser populated states. That and the 70+ mph speed limits
Adrienna Brown, Bud A., Orange713 and 1 other person Thank this.
