I'm not kidding here, man. Stuff like this can actually screw you up for the rest of your life. DON'T LET IT! It really is up to you.
I worked for them for a while, several years ago. Obviously, I was not happy with them, or I would still be there. But try to move on, for your own sake.OverDrive Thanks this. -

Unfortunately for what you just wrote, its completely wrong. I worked for knight for 2 years, 0 accidents, 0 incidents, and 3000+ miles every week. Before i go to far and you say what you want to say, refer side and dry side are the same company and are slowly being run the exact same way. What was said earlier about them wanting good experienced drivers is a load of crap, complete crap. They (dry side) is letting go a vast majority of their GOOD employees to hire their driver trainees or as knights dumb idea calls them squires. The squire program and their hiring has made it to where a large number of their drivers have been fired or laid off for no apparent reason, myself included but thats cool and all i had more work lined up. People who dont look at the whole picture when it comes to knight needs to know this company is there not for the drivers and not for their customers but its for their pocket liners. I think someone needs to remind them that they are the be home more carrier, as a majority of their drivers (unless they like to hit their knees in a timely fassion) make it home once a month and for 3 days... i constantly had to fight to get home when i needed to be. and dont try and tell me i did something wrong about the matter, i did everything as it should have been done.

Not even close. They are owend by the same copr. Knight Trans Inc. but they are not the same company.
They have 2 differt DOT numbers, 2 differt Company Pres. and they have there owen paperwork.
2nd, the fact that you ONLY have 1yr exp. says it all. Thats how much your oppion is worth on this matter.Last edited: Jan 25, 2009

MR KABAR one of those jobs said i quote review to rehire which i can go back there if i want, the other 2 i left one cause of no miles, the other paid by the hour, and only got 20 hours a week if i was lucky, i left both on my own for my own reasons. however you and knight refrigerated can both BITE ME.

Oh wait.
It's like minor changes but yes, the paperwork is the same (different color tripsheets) logbooks say LLC, but are almost the same, and we share the same yards.
Two completely different companies. I mean, come on, one is grey the other red! By that standard, Knight Intermodal is a different company because the tassle on the knight is green not yellow like the other red trucks!

And you just try using a Knight Ref trip sheet to get paid. You will never see that pay. It will go to the wrong people.
And if they are the same company then why are the Knight Trans drivers setting around begging for a 300 miles trip when Knight Ref. is moving lots of 1200+ loads? Oh thats right. THEY ARE TWO DIFERENT COMPANIES!! -
